That’s why, in the hopes to please the most demanding crowd, some of us may be tempted to buy smart toys, such as interactive dolls that can talk with you, toy cameras that can snap real pictures, or Bluetooth-enabled karaoke mics that can connect to any device.Ī new report by the US Public Interest Research Group (US PIRG), published in early November, sheds light on the state of Internet of Toys (IoToys), a subset of the Internet of Things (IoT).
